We at Heathmont Animal Hospital are a team that is dedicated to outstanding service to both animals and their owners. At our hospital, we recognise the importance of the bond that exists between people and their pets. As our motto says, we gear our services to providing “special care” for those animals that are more than just pets but are in fact “special friends” of their owners.
Our commitment to excellent customer service was recognised by the Office of Fair Trading when we won an Award of Merit in the Victorian Fair Trading Awards as well as being a finalist 2 years running in the Maroondah Business Awards.
We see our role as helping you as our client to keep your pet in the best of health. This means we endeavour to involve you in decisions concerning the treatment and care of your pet. We believe in recommending the best, but also offering other options according to clients’ individual circumstances.

DIVA: – Undisputed queen of the clinic!
Diva joined our team 11 years ago. She was found as a kitten, strolling along the Heathmont shops — weaving her way amongst shoppers’ legs and generally making her presence known. She was brought to us as a stray and even though we tried all avenues, we could not locate an owner for her. We all thought this was quite amazing given her extremely slick, soft coat and outgoing (to say the least), personality.
It was decided that as she had all the right qualities for a clinic cat, she would be allowed to oversee the management here, a job she has taken very seriously. Diva now spends her day escorting patients into the clinic, jumping into delivery vans and clients cars, or more often that not lolling about on the front desk.
